Practical advice, community stories, and occupational health information for fishing and port workers.

Practical information for working lives

Everything we publish is written with the real conditions of harbour and fishing work in mind. No jargon, no generic advice — only information that makes a difference to someone who was on a quayside at five in the morning.

Get our resources before they reach the harbour

We send our printed guides to harbour welfare contacts and fishing associations across Scotland's west coast. If you would like to receive resources — for yourself, your crew, or a community group — get in touch and we will make sure they reach you.

We also run drop-in sessions in Wishaw roughly monthly. If you would like to know when the next session is, or if you want us to visit your workplace, contact us directly.
